The Coaches’ Association (HKHDCCA) held its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the Rosewood Centre, Barker College, on 2 June 2025, with 21 people in attendance, including Committee Members, Life Members, Patrons, coaches, volunteers and special guests.
Bruce Wood OAM (President) chaired the meeting and Connor Hindmarch (Head Coach) briefly outlined the highlights of the Coaches’ Association’s 2024-25 season, with additional comments from three of our Patrons, Ross Turner, Mark Rushton and Alf James OAM.
It was pleasing to hear reports from senior representatives of other cricket organisations that work in close consultation with the Coaches’ Association – Justin Gross (President, HK&HDCA); Jeremy Hook (President, Northern District CC); Mark Rushton (Founder, Blowfly Cricket); and Ben Garratt (Cricket Manager, Sydney North West, Cricket NSW).
A presentation was made to our retiring Secretary, Josh Miller, who has done a great job in the role for 13 years (2012 – 2025).
The following HKHDCCA committee members and Patrons were elected for the 2025-26 season.
Executive Committee – Bruce Wood OAM (President), Connor Hindmarch (Head Coach), Tyler Lang (Treasurer), Zoya Thakur (Secretary), and Chris Burnett (Vice-President).
General Committee – Corey Miller (Social Media Co-ordinator), Elysa Oliveri (Girls Co-ordinator), Aliya Colburt (Member Protection Officer), and Alex Fitzgerald (Social Media Assistant).
Patrons – Ross Turner, Mark Rushton, Alf James OAM, Denise Anderson (Annetts) and Matt Kean.
