The Coaches’ Association held two successful cricket clinics at Mark Taylor Oval, Waitara in January 2026, in partnership with Northern District CC. The total attendance of boys & girls was 191, making them the largest and most popular junior cricket clinics in Sydney. The Coaches’ Association has now held 93 junior cricket clinics in the school holidays since its inception in 2010.
HKHDCCA engaged 14 accredited coaches at each clinic in January to ensure maximum skills development and enjoyment. Head Coach, Connor Hindmarch, and President, Bruce Wood OAM were joined by the following accredited coaches – Corey Miller, Tyler Lang, Rohan Awati, Elysa Oliveri, Ben Burrows, Lachlan Edwards, Nick Hook, Rubein Gobinath, Zach Rapa, Josh Strefner, Ari Handley, Amelia Moyes, Vivaan Gandhi, Max Guazzarotto, Oliver Uy, Zac Dalziel, Lachlan Barber & David Tanna.
Our coaches were thrilled to see all the kids make new friends, develop their skills, and have a fantastic time!
The facilities at MTO are magnificent with the First Grade oval and award-winning Indoor Centre, thanks to Northern District CC and Hornsby Shire Council.
Congratulations to Oliver Halfhide from Kissing Point CC and Stirling Elliott from St Ives CC, for winning the prestigious Phillip Hughes Medal, which recognises outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, enthusiasm, performance and spirit of cricket.
HKHDCCA coaches, Nick Hook and Vivaan Gandhi, who have both played First Grade cricket this season, displayed their excellent batting skills in the Coaches’ Association’s MasterClass sessions.
